Inspirational Quotes.xx

We all need a bit of inspiration at some point....and although you might be feeling on top of the world, keep some of these quotes in mind.

Viktor Emil Frankl (26 March 1905 – 2 September 1997)

Viktor Frankl was born in 1905 into a Jewish family. During the war of 1942 Frankle together with his wife and parents were deported to a Nazi Camp and his experiences as an inmate in the concentration camps led him to discover the importance of attitude during hardship.

  • “The one thing you can’t take away from me is the way I choose to respond to what you do to me. The last of one’s freedoms is to choose one’s attitude in any given circumstance.”
    ― Viktor E. Frankl

My other favorite is Professor Albus Dumbledore, he is a fictional character in J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series. He is also the headmaster of the wizarding school Hogwarts!

I enjoy the series of Harry Potter very much, it is one of my favorites!

Travel Diary- Thailand

Hello everybody, welcome back. I absolutely love travelling, it’s so much fun. But today I want to talk about one of my favourite places, Phuket.

We visited the land of Thailand a year ago. Phuket is an island located south east of Thailand, there’s lots of things to do, but the most fun and exotic thing is to go snorkelling, that is where you have a snorkel and goggles and not scared of fish. We went on a speed boat to the Phi Phi islands

It was a full-day adventure, we went to 6 different islands, with a
lunch buffet included. One of the islands, the monkey island was great fun, it was filled with small monkeys waiting for you to feed them bananas.

The next was Phi Phi where we had lunch, we went for a swim on each of the other islands, there were no sharks in sight (which suited me just fine) because the water is very warm. This whole day cost around $100 p/p.

We stayed  in Phuket at the Kata Beach Resort and Spa for 8 days, it was an amazing hotel and the breakfast was out of this world.

It was nothing else but paradise. One of the things you cannot go without is their Thai pancakes, my personal favorite was the Nutella and banana, it is absolutely delicious.

 Because the snorkeling was so
fabulous we decided to do it again but this time just the half-day  tripwhere they take you to island with a long boat, and leave you there until you decide you have been in the sun long enough. My family and another small family were the only people on the beach beside the people that work there. The island was so beautiful, there was a small tiki bar, gift shop and a shower, the water was so warm, I wanted to stay there forever.

In Thailand the heat and humidity sometimes becomes unbearable, it’s very warm if you are not in the sea or in the pool to cool off. It’s a perfect place to catch some waves. If you do not own your own surf board or a boogie board, there is a lot for rent at the beach. The night life is sooo much fun, and the famous Simon Caberet show is not to be missed, maybe make it a girl's night out, some boy’s won’t like it, trust me ;)

“Life is a book, and people who don’t travel, read only one page..”

Have a nice day and a happy Sunday. Talk to you guys later!xx

#FitnessFriday.xx

Hey everybody! It's here, the first #FitnessFriday, welcome! So today I have decided to share some tips with you guys for a healthier lifestyle and also to give you guys motivation to start living the better life.

!!THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO DO, IF YOU'RE HAPPY WITH YOUR LIFESTYLE THAT'S FINE, everyone is beautiful in their own body!!xx

Anyway,

  • Get your mind right: Be committed, if you are, you're already half way there.
  • Gym wear: Maybe it will motivate you to go to the gym if you have cute workout gear.
  • Food: You will have to eat better, maybe try to eat a little less junk food and chocolate, but it's fine to eat a chocolate maybe 1 or 2 times a week.
  • Goals: Don’t think that you get your dream body overnight or after just one workout. These things take time.
  • Water: Drink at least 8 glasses a day , it’s very important to drink lots of water throughout your workout  because of all the water you lose by sweating.
  • Sleep: Get lots of sleep (8 hours a night) it good to sleep but don’t think you get fit just by staying in bed the whole day!
  • Exercise:Go for a walk or run with your dog, friends and family. If you are not the sweaty-cardio type like most people, try yoga or pilates.
  • Gym: You don’t have to spend money to go to the gym and get fit, if you’re reading this you have some sort of internet access, use it to your advantage, go on YouTube and try a few quick workout’s at home.
  • Eating: Try not to skip breakfast, it is, believe it or not, the most important meal of the day. Never ever try to starve yourself, it will do more bad then good. !!EAT BETTER NOT LESS!!
  • Eat more natural sorts of food. Rather check the ingredients list than check how many calories there are.
  • Music: Get songs that will help you to get pumped and excited to workout or go to the gym, create a playlist on your phone filled with songs that will make you run a little bit faster or just to lift that weight just a few more times! You can also follow me on 8Tracks to check out my fitspo workout playlist          http://8tracks.com/donne-snyders/fitspo-workout

Enjoy it and have fun, don’t push yourself to something you can’t do! It never gets easier, you just get stronger. So squat for that booty!xx
