Travel Diary: Vietnam

Traveling is something that most people dream of doing for most of their lives. I’m very grateful to have been able to travel to a few places in my life so far.

The ultimate will obviously be to see and experience most of this wonderful planet we can call home. To gather stories to tell my future children, taking them places worth experiencing, But for now, this story will have to do.

A while ago I got the opportunity to travel to Vietnam with my class from High School. With this being one of the most amazing memories I have ever had, what better way than to share it with people contemplating on where to travel next.

Vietman, other than being one of the least expensive countries to travel too, it may be one of the most beautiful. The exotic beaches and the extravagant night life, Vietnam hold the key to a great vacation gateway. Not to talk about their rich history and amazing museums, it has truly ticked all the boxes for me.

A few nights spent in Saigon having an enlightening tour at war museums and entertaining rooftop parties. At the night market we all had a great time shopping for all
the random bits and pieces that caught our eyes, from clothes to gadgets to souvenirs.

Next we flew to Da Lat and from there taking an old steam train to a Weasel Coffee Farm and Silk factory. There we had the most amazing brewed weasel mocha coffee sweetened with condensmilk, while taking in the lushes green surrounds.

Our next stop was three unforgetfull nights in Nha Trang which, may I say, was a my favorite spot. With seaside resorts and sunset beach parties, it is the city of the lights and exuberant night life.

We ended up in Hanoi, the capital of the country, hiring motorbikes and riding them alongside the breathtaking rice farms and country side.

I strongly advise any young (or older) traveler who loves exploring new cultures, appreciates traveling through the countryside and snorkeling in blue waters to consider this astounding country.

'Till next time. xx

Be-You-tiful.xx |SGGypsy

Hello Everybody, I hope that you are all doing well. Today I’m going to tell you guys about being yourself and that you are very beautiful.

So we all have our insecurities and stuff we don’t like about ourselves & it's not always easy to be the person that you are, maybe you struggling with an eating disorder, maybe you think you are over weight or maybe you’re going through a hard time at school or at home.

The society today is horrible to people, you get so easily judged by your appearance and how you act, it is really hard sometimes. But guys it doesn’t matter, not even a little bit. You are you, and no one is better at being you than you!

You are so beautiful in your own skin and if you have a little pimple or a spot, what does it matter. I can promise that you are not the only one in the world going through that, in fact you are 1 of a million going through it. It is not that bad.

If you think you’re overweight, and that stops you from chasing your dreams, then it is not worth it. You are so beautiful and you should embrace your flaws.

If you think you don’t look so great without make-up, don't be afraid to go out, WHO CARES, so you shouldn’t! Make-up should be a fun thing to do with your friends and maybe when there is a special occasion, try a few new techniques & apply just enough to enhance & not hide you’re beautiful face!

If somebody at you’re school breaks you down, then that’s maybe because their life isn’t that great, they get abused at home or maybe gets criticised with everything they do. It's sometimes hard to understand what’s going on behind closed doors.

Friends that tease you about something are really not the best friends. You should consider to leave them straight away, they don’t deserve your friendship, a friend is supposed to help you and support you through everything you do, not judge you on your appearance or your dreams or what you want to do with you’re life..

I really hope that you have found something helpful in this,
and that you will remember you ARE beautiful, you ARE worth more than you think, you ARE  amazing.
Please remember that.xx

Thank you so much for reading this and have a GREAT WEEkend, love you guys. Cheers.xx
